AVELINO RELEASES ‘NO BULLSHIT’
Finally Avelino has released his long awaited project ‘No Bullshit’. I know his fans have been patiently waiting for new music since F.Y.O which he dropped in 2016. However since F.Y.O he has had a sell out show at XOYO, teamed up with BT Sports for the Europa League final ad and his smash track ‘Energy’ was used in EA’s Fifa 18 trailer, so the North London rapper has been about.
However, In a time were music is being released and consumed faster than Usain Bolt in his prime, if you’re an artist and you go quite for a few months people often think the worst and think your over or fell off. It takes strong characters and artist to not fall under the pressure of what we as fans or the industry expect in regards to the release of the music. As we’ve seen with our American neighbours and artist from here the ones that tend to have longevity are the ones that have built a strong fanbase and not conform to today’s landscape of music in terms output. You only have to look at the likes of a Wretch 32, Kano, Krept & Konan, Kendrick Lamar, Drake and J Cole to see what impact they have when they drop new music.
Avelino definitely falls into the catergory of artist above and I believe he’s of the mindset quality over quantity.
