THE YEAR OF STORMZY DOESN’T STOP AS HE TAKES THE CROWN OF BBC MUSIC ARTIST OF THE YEAR

There is only a number of days left in 2017 and of course Stormzy is ending the year with a bang. Fresh off his recent MOBO win where he took home 3 Mobo Awards Stormzy is closing out this year with the title of ‘BBC Music Artist of the Year’.

Whilst most of us have just about survived the madness that has been 2017 Stormzy has definitely had what I would think of as the year of his life. From breaking through with his debut album ‘Gang Signs & Prayer‘ which has gone on to become one of the biggest Grime albums of the year. Taking the stage across the UK as well as internationally Stormzy has really been on a high this year.

Adding to his successes it was announced  during the BBC 2 Year in Music Special that Stormzy was taking home the prize of Artist of the Year beating out artists such as Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, Kendrick Lamar, Lorde and Rag’n’Bone Man all of which have had quite a successful year in terms of their music.

If Stormzy does nothing else until 2018 he can go home and reflect on what has been quite a year for the South London artist. And whilst he reflects on his year best believe we are ready to see what he has in store for 2018 and if this year is anything to go off then everybody better get ready for another epic year of Stormzy.
