Greatness has been spouting from Manchester in droves recently and our one to watch at the moment is IAMDDB.

She describes her sound as a wave of clouds and vibes, new era urban jazz but we think she combines so many other elements, so I guess you could compare her to the weather. Strikingly soulful with the loving odes of an r’n’b starlet mixed with the attitude of a manor chick her newest melody is ‘Trophy’ which makes for some laid back listening.

The video for ‘Trophy’ is simplistic in its feel, with shadows and objects of IAMDDB’s desire: her henney, her man, her trophy. IAMDDB is a lady that comes across as humbled and real and we look forward to hearing more from Hoodrich Volume 3.
